I found it interesting that may result in the FL-market flood of 18 inches of water over 26,285.00 for damages ... He saw here are the sources of insurance in FL ...

Or buy a property that is not somewhere on a high risk of flooding ...

I work for a large P & C insurance that many always ready to leave FL because it has to play very risky for the insurance company. I do not write that I write P & C & M, but it's always interesting to me.

Well, it's Florida. Let's say so.

It is extremely difficult to find homeowners insurance in Florida, and for a second home, if the secondary property or lease it much more difficult. Obviously the first place to look for, the agent writes its primary. But I doubt it will - likely to end up with the citizens, the state funds. Enjoy the major hurricane that came through, took 9-12 months for loans and liabilities that are seriously underfunded.

Anyway. If the house has a replacement value of $ 150,000, followed by housing (without content) costs about $ 3,000 to $ 2,500 wind and flood around 1500 euros. But the people a higher rate of 60% at any time if you do not, and in January proposed new legislation would require it to strong interest rate hikes next year - as the current prices are double or triple.

Have fun. It would not be buying real estate in Florida now.
